SOVIET STYLE SUPER LEARNING In the 80s, I remember a few interesting books on a subject matter they called Super Learning. Anyone else remember this? I think the idea was to relax the body as much as possible - not sitting upright, but in a more relaxing chair, and listening passively to instructions from an audio tape while a particular type of music was played. The music was Mozart-style, if I am not mistaken, or even Bach. The idea was to transmit facts not by the student actively learning, but passively absorbing. I think it could even be done while asleep

... at the time I was into sports, 15 years old, playing tennis. And at that time, I do not know about now, there was much talk about sports psychology and of being in "the zone".
